Peter Mercurio and Stephan Hermann Worobel founded Peter Hermann in a small shop located in Soho NY in 1987, when Soho was mostly an artist community with many art galleries and small shops. Peter and Stephan had a vision of showcasing European leather goods that were of great design and quality which is still our mantra today. Our continued success is a testament to our wonderful customers who cherish design and quality over labels.
